February 2006: TERRINGTON 0-1 REFFLEY - Cup Q/F
Played at Leverington under very difficult conditions, due to
a very cold wind blowing straight down the pitch.
After some very early exchanges Reffley soon began to take control of the
midfield with Jacob Marshall Grint , Harry Ward and Sam Smalley working
well. Reffley played a controlled passing game which seemed to work well.
Several chances were created but were either wide of the mark or were well
saved by the Terrington 'keeper.
Reffley took the lead after 10 min as Harry Ward's centre was slotted home
by MotM David Fysh. Reffley continued to push forward in the second
half but with the wind in their faces, they were unable to add to the
score.

February 2006: WOOTTONS 2-0 REFFLEY - Cup Q/F
Early on there were chances at both ends. Reffley's defence of
Jack Harris, Ben Swales and Jacob Marshall Grint were all put under
pressure. Wootton took the lead after 9 mins with a well placed goal in
the left corner. They increased their lead to 2-0 just before half
time.
Reffley still felt they were in with a chance and pushed forward in the
second half with chances falling to Ryan Lucas and David Fysh, but
Wootton's 'keeper was on top form. Jake Wilkinson saved well at the other
end just seconds before the final whistle.
Reffley's MotM: Jacob Marshall-Grint

February 2006: DOWNHAM 0-1 REFFLEY (at Clenchwarton)
An excellent game and even though there were early chances at each end,
both defences were in control. Ben Swales, Jack Harris and Jacob Marshall
Grint all had good games. Reffley took the lead mid-way through the first
half. The ball came out to the right for Man of the March Harry Ward to
turn and beat his marker and then float an excellent ball over the Downham
'keeper's head into the top left hand corner of the net. David Fysh came
close from a free kick and Charlie Collier could have added a second late
on.
10 December 2005: CLENCHWARTON v REFFLEY (at
Clenchwarton)
Another good game with Clenchwarton pushing forward from the
start. Jake Wilkinson saved well on two occasions. Ward and Fysh both had
chances from free kicks. Clenchwarton scored the only goal mid-way through
the second half, with Fryatt getting on the end of a long through ball by
just beating the Reffley keeper to it. A well contested game with all the
Reffley squad of Wilkinson, Harris, Swales, Marshll-Grint, Fysh, Ward,
Lucas, Smalley and Collier all working well together as a team.
Reffley MotM: Ben Swales

January 2006: SHOULDHAM 1-4 REFFLEY (at
Shouldham)
Played at Shouldham on a
very uneven and small pitch, but despite this Reffley were always in
command. It wasn't long before they were one up through a fine headed goal
by David Fysh, after some good approach play by Ben Swales and
Jacob Marshall Grint.
Reffley increased their lead from a well taken long range shot direct from
a free kick by Harry Ward.
Reffley continued to press and were rewarded with a third goal before the
break, with a left footed drive by David Fysh after being put
through by Sam Smalley.
After the break Reffley continued to press and were soon rewarded with a
fourth by Ryan Lucas. Shouldham were rewarded with late
consultation goal.
Reffley MotM: David Fysh
21 January 2006: HUNGATE V REFFLEY (at
Shouldham)
A very physical game, Hungate didn't give Reffley a chance to play
their passing game by not giving them any time or space. However Reffley
had a chance in the first half, after Ward was felled by very late tackle.
Fysh took the spot kick but it was saved by the Hungate 'keeper's
legs.
Hungate scored late on to clinch the points with another penalty, after a
Reffley player was deemed to handle after an awkward bounce.
Reffley MotM: Jacob Marshall Grint

Charlie Collier, David Fysh and Ryan Lucas took the spoils with two first
half strikes by Ryan Lucus and a well taken second half
goal from Charlie Collier. Reffley Man of the Match

November 2005: REFFLEY 0-0 CLENCHWARTON
(at Reffley)
Clenchwarton started the better and had several early chances.
Reffley began to settle down and got more into the game as the first half
came to an end. The second half started fairly evenly with chances going
begging a each end. However, Clenchwarton finished the stronger but were
foiled by some good defensive work by Reffley and two outstanding saves by
Reffley goalkeeper and Man of the Match, Jake Wilkinson.
12 November 2005: REFFLEY 0-0 EAST
LYNN
(at Reffley)
This was a very even game with both sides having early chances.
Play flowed from one end to the other. A very good match played in the
right spirit. Reffley's Man of the Match was Jack Harris for some
very good defensive work.

October 2005: WOOTTON 'B' 0-5 REFFLEY (at Shouldham)
Reffley dominated this game from start to finish, with goals
coming from Sam Smalley, David Fysh and Harry Ward (3).
Reffley MotM: Jack Harris.
29 October 2005: SHOULDHAM 0-5
REFFLEY (at Shouldham)
Although Reffley won 5-0, it was far from a one sided game.
Shouldham's goalkeeper had a very good game with Reffley only going in at
half time 1-0 up, thanks to a Jacob Marshall-Grint goal just before
the break. Reffley made two changes at half time and soon increased their
lead with goals coming from Ryan Lucas, and a David Fysh hatrick.
The result could well have been quite different but for two outstanding
saves from goalkeeper and Reffley MotM Jake Wilkinson.

October 2005: REFFLEY 1-1 DOWNHAM 'A' (at Reffley)
An excellent match by two evenly match teams. Downham took the
lead with a very well executed goal. After the second half restart Reffley
made some positional changes and equalised through Charlie Collier,
after some fine approach work by both Harry Ward and Sam Smalley.
Reffley MotM: Ben Swales.
8 October 2005: REFFLEY 2-1 HUNGATE
(at Reffley)
Reffley took an early lead after Charlie Collier centred from they
right for Jacob Marshall-Grint to slot home in the bottom left hand
corner. This game flowed from end to end with Jake Wilkinson making a very
good save just before Hungate equalised.
As Hungate tired, Reffley pushed forward
and had several chances to take the lead again but were foiled by the
visitor's 'keeper. Jack Harris made a very good clearance. Late on Reffley
were rewarded with a very well taken winning goal by Ryan Lucas.
Reffley MotM: Ben Swales.
