DARREN SMITH
(Goal Keeper)

Darren continues to improve weekly. His ability has never been questioned but now every aspect of his keeping, from his kicking to his positional sense leaves me in awe. I believe he is years ahead in his development and since he has found his voice our injury list has reduced as his team mates know now when he is coming and quickly get out of the way.

JACOB RIDSDILL
(Defender)

Jacob improved towards the end of last season. Has worked hard on his kicking, now needs to concentrate on his positional sense as well. Is developing into a solid right back.

JAMES COLE
(Defender)

James is our sweeper/centre half. Very quick and decisive in the tackle, doesn’t like to take prisoners. Always answers the challenge. James is very fit and eager to learn. A pleasure to coach.

JOE SCOTT
(Mid-fielder)

Joe is the first of the twins to be mentioned. Every team needs a Joe, and he covers every blade of grass in most matches. He is always prepared to put his foot in where it hurts but is always in the position most needed when required. Last season’s clubman of the year.

DANNY TAYLOR
(Defender)

Danny is the team captain. He reads the game very well and has a great first touch. Continues to grow stronger and stronger in the tackle. Was guilty of scoring a goal that would have made his dad proud with a thirty-yard screamer. Will develop into a sound centre half.

PATRICK STAUNTON
(Defender)

Once this lad gets fit there will be no stopping him. Has all the attributes of a good defender, strong, brave, good header of the ball and a sweet left foot. This year could be his year to fulfil the potential he undoubtedly has. I know from first hand experience how hard a tackler he can be.

RYAN SCOTT
(Striker)

Scottie is our other, but by no means least, twin. Ryan is fast developing into a solid, all-round team player. His will to win gives him such a competitive edge. Our teams vice-captain, he wears his heart on his sleeve and really drives the others on with his single mindedness. Will no doubt be the one who carries the team on his back, but has done so while still improving his own game.

MARCO DUARTE
(???)

JACK TAYLOR
(Mid-fielder)

Jack is another new acquisition, strong quite lad who has some raw talent which we hope to develop over the coming months.

MATTHEW CORNWALL
(Midfielder)

Matty is quick, works very hard both in defence and attack and contributes with some often timely goals. He has worked hard on his kicking and is now the most accomplished player with both feet in the squad. Another who is deadly from the dead ball situations.

No picture available for this player.

JOE HOOK
(Striker)

Joe is the third new player for us. Has proved himself in training always willing to listen and learn, from his colleagues as well as the coach. First showing seems to have a great engine which we will no doubt build on over the coming season

CHRIS GOODSEN
(Midfielder / Striker)

Now in his second season Chris again has potential to grow into a very useful player. Now needs to step his game up to fulfil the potential he has shown.

BEN WARD
(Mid-fielder)

Ben is the team's provider - he creates a lot of chances for everyone. He hits the ball very well and excels from dead ball situations, especially around the opponent's box. Predominantly left footed, he is fast developing the use of both feet and his head.

GARY BOWMAN

PAUL TAYLOR
(Manager)

"Tats" Taylor has been around the local football scene for longer than he cares to think about and longer than most other people can remember!!! His enthusiasm for the game is without limit and his work for his team, and the Club in general, is never-ending. An F.A. Level 2 Coach, Paul's teams are always full of enthusiasm, well-drilled, competitive and very, very difficult to beat.
